Rebooked?
The rebooking resulted in the girl being late for her scheduled flight to her Aunt in New York. The Southwest airlines employees who took the girl off the flight failed to call the girl’s mother or other family members to notify them of her late arrival. The result? A frantic parent, unable to find her child for over an hour.
Southwest claims that it is conducting its own internal investigation to take a second look at policies that involve children delayed on flights – and contact the immediate family of minor children should a situation like this occur.
